I enjoyed the video and your coaching on it. I just have one small disagreement with your coaching cues. We were designed to have reflexive activation of our core. Out in the real world you wouldn't be thinking about keeping your core tight and activating your glutes. Our brain and nervous system know movement patterns and not muscles. I've had better luck with my clients by having them focus on the movement pattern. I may ask them where they are feeling the stress or contraction. Mainly to see if they are getting reflexive core activation. A lot of people have lost that ability because of their lifestyle. To get it back, we need to put them in a position where their core has to activate to prevent rotation or any other undesired movement. These two movements may send a little too much information into the nervous system for that to happen. Or they may work great for some people. If they are having trouble with reflexive core activation, I would usually take them back to something simpler like a bird dog with a hold or a variation called the cat's paw where both knees are on the ground, you shift some of your weight over your hands and then lift one hand and hold for a specific amount of time. I've found those 2 exercises can help someone access reflexive core activation and then keep it when we move toward a more complex or loaded exercise.

I have an old Torso track that I bought years ago. Same motion so this helps me. Torso track would be easier than this wheel though. Will have to work up to this.

Absolutely love the farmers walks! If there was only one lift that I could do that’s what it would be! Hope to be able to walk with my body weight in a year or two.

Someone recommended I look into Eldoa stretches; I’ve got a spondylolisthesis in my L5 area, plus an old fracture that supposedly has arthritis in it. If anyone’s had experience with something similar, I’d love to know if/how you found relief and healing.

I love this. It requires reflexive activation of your core. Which is the way we were built to move.

My problem on benching is trying to get my feet flat on the floor. I usually do my bench press using the SMITHS MACHINE I don’t have a workout partner. I am up to benching 245. (72 years old). But I have my feet on the bench.😳

Was at the gym today when it was crowded. I was backing away from people when they walked towards me., especially bigger people and I'm in great shape but sometimes I feel small I usually try to avoid going when it's crowded, but it's something I need to get over.l and exposure is the only way.

Once a woman is through menopause, she isn't gonna have any babies. So that doesn't answer the question about those particular women being sensitive to caffeine. It likely has a lot to do with how we metabolize anything. Caffeine, like any drug, has to be filtered through the liver. If the liver isn't working well, then it's not going metabolize and filter caffeine too well. Caffeine also puts the body into fight/flight, so it releases cortisol, which is what makes you feel alert when you drink coffee. Then there's the fact that caffeine is itself an insecticide so given that women has more of a BMI than men (or at least classically speaking), that poison is getting into their fat cells and staying there much longer than in a man's fat cells. Ofc, that's very generally speaking I realize. There's plenty of fat guys and also women who have more muscle than those men.

This is good but I feel like it's still to shoulder dominant if doing crunches, whereas people who have hip flexor debility (like me) because of sedentary may also have forward hunched posture.

These kind of videos need to be reversed when conveying information just tell us what it does instead of breaking down the molecular structure. If people want to watch that at the end give them that option we just basically want the meat and potatoes of how this damn thing works
